The Knozone program developed this business toolkit to assist in your efforts in reducing air pollution as a Central Indiana Clean Air Partner. You can help improve air quality in central Indiana by adopting a customized set of initiatives that will benefit your business and our entire community.

The business toolkit is divided into five sections that correspond to each of the CICAP commitment sections.  These sections include:

The CICAP toolkit includes the following information:

• A sample vehicle idling reduction policy for your employees
• E-mail text you can use to notify your employees in advance of Knozone Air Quality Action Days, so they can take steps to reduce air pollution

• Tips for adopting environmentally-friendly work schedules such as flextime, alternative work schedules and telecommuting
• Contact information for the City's Office of Environmental Services (OES) so that OES can assist businesses and industries in reducing air emissions
