Companies throughout Central Indiana are doing their part to improve our air quality.

Businesses in the Central Indiana Clean Air Partnership can take various steps to help improve the quality of air in the nine-county region. Meet current CICAP partners Eli Lilly and Company, the Rolls-Royce Corporation, R.W. Armstrong and University Place Conference Center and Hotel, and learn what they are doing to help clean the air.

University Place Conference Center and Hotel

Since 1987, University Place Conference Center & Hotel and its staff have created an environment for achievement. Centered on the campus of Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) the conference center and hotel convey an intellectual atmosphere within the setting of a large urban campus.

  • Replacing incandescent light bulbs with longer-lasting fluorescent bulbs that use less energy.
  • Offering guests the option of a linen re-use program that reduces wastewater and energy consumption.
  • Recycling batteries
